CNC

CNC MACHINIST

Kimastle Corporation is actively seeking to hire a skilled CNC Machinist to operate a variety of machines to perform assigned tasks. The successful candidate will produce or repair precision parts using both manual and automated equipment and accurate measurements.
Machinists at Kimastle need to possess manual dexterity and an eye for detail. They must also have knowledge of job-specific mathematics and mechanics as well as respect for safety precautions.
The goal is to ensure effective production operations and optimize procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output
  • Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job
  • Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping
  • Select appropriate machines and position or load material for a job
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist (5 years’ experience preferred)
  • Experience in using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines. (Manual Bridgeport’s, Fadal CNC’s to be specific)
  • Ability to work well with others and preform assigned tasks
  • Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers) to take accurate measurements
  • Knowledge of the properties of metal and other material
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
  • Good at math with analytical abilities
  • Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of vocational training or an apprenticeship will be an asset
  • Night shift position: 4:30pm to 2:30am

CNC SAW OPERATOR
Kimastle Corporation is actively seeking an experienced CNC Saw Operator responsible for running saws to support production of components for the automotive industry while working closely with engineering and CNC machine shop teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up the saw machine, making adjustments for each job
  • Set stops or guides to specified lengths
  • Operate the saw machine, keeping an eye out for any defects or issues
  • Use measurement tools to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Meet or exceed customer’s specifications as outlined on the job order
  • Make sure the job and materials are of good quality
  • Any other general machine operation tasks or responsibilities assigned by his or her supervisors

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a CNC shop environment (1 year experience preferred)
  • Ability to read blueprints and GD&T
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Willing to work overtime
  • Possesses own basic tools
  • Valid driver’s license

Kimastle Corporation is looking for a Machine Tool Designer with Automotive Tooling experience preferably in secondary tooling.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must be capable of designing tooling from sketches or verbal line up.

  • Applying GD&T to designs.
  • Strong problem solving and organizational scenarios
  • Possess interpersonal skills to work well with others.
  • Proficient in Inventor or solid works

CONTROLS

LEAD CONTROL PANEL BUILDER
We are currently seeking experienced Lead Control Panel Wiring/Panel Builder for full-time positions in our Chesterfield, Michigan office. The ideal candidate must be able to read and interpret electrical wiring schematics, signs and symbols that are involved in the placement, mounting and wiring of electrical component installation into the metal cabinets/control panels.

Requirements:

  • Assembles electrical components, units, sub-assemblies and wiring.
  • Positions, aligns, and adjusts components and electrical parts to facilitate wiring and assembly.
  • Wire complex controls panels based on drawing, instructions and guidelines.
  • Reads and comprehends electrical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders and mechanical drawings.
  • Follows and maintains 3rd party standards, NEC code and other applicable standards and codes.
  • Provide accurate time reporting for assigned activities through the ERP system.
  • May operate hand pallet jack, electric lift or overhead crane, and Hilo.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned.

High School diploma or equivalent, with at least 4 years’ experience preferred.
