CNC MACHINIST
Kimastle Corporation is actively seeking to hire a skilled CNC Machinist to operate a variety of machines to perform assigned tasks. The successful candidate will produce or repair precision parts using both manual and automated equipment and accurate measurements.
Machinists at Kimastle need to possess manual dexterity and an eye for detail. They must also have knowledge of job-specific mathematics and mechanics as well as respect for safety precautions.
The goal is to ensure effective production operations and optimize procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output
- Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job
- Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping
- Select appropriate machines and position or load material for a job
- Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as Machinist. (3-5 years’ experience)
- Experience in using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines. (Manual Bridgeport’s, Fadal CNC’s to be specific)
- Ability to work well with others and preform assigned tasks
- Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers) to take accurate measurements
- Knowledge of the properties of metal and other material
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
- Good at math with analytical abilities
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of vocational training or an apprenticeship will be an asset

WELDER – MIG & TIG
Kimastle Corporation is seeking welders with primary experience in tig and mig welding of aluminum and steel (also, stainless steel) parts. Successful candidates will be those who apply their skills with safety, accuracy and timeliness in the welding area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produce quality welds according to blueprints (weld symbols)
- Inspect welds for accuracy
- Prepare product to be welded by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping and cutting steel/aluminum parts
- Change wire, welding, as needed
- Change gas tanks, as needed
- Follow all quality and safety protocols
REQUIREMENTS
- Prefer at least 1-3 years of experience working with mig and tig welding
- Good job-specific mathematical ability and the ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to operate precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, protractors, and tape measures
- Must possess High School diploma/GED
- Possess valid driver’s license.

CNC OPERATOR
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plans machining by following work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, and specifications.
- Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math and proving part programs.
- Sets-up mills and lathes.
- Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.
- Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces, adhering to standards.
- Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.

MACHINE BUILDER
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Comply with manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications using hand-tools and power tools
- May diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in machine building
- Valid driver’s license for some travel to customer facilities

MACHINE TOOL ELECTRICIAN
Kimastle Corporation has an immediate job opening for a Machine Tooling Electrician who is looking for a long-term and exciting career opportunity with considerable growth. We are seeking highly motivated and experienced individuals with the integrity and drive to be part of a dynamic team. The successful candidate will be able to read electrical drawings, field wire machines, and troubleshoot wiring issues.
Individuals must be mature, reliable, hardworking, and have 3-5 years of experience in the electrical trade. Candidates must also have a high level of attention for detail.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years of experience – electrician knowledge & skills
- Must possess High School diploma/GED
- Able to read electrical drawings, field wire machines, and troubleshoot wiring issues. Most of the work is with Allan Bradley or similar hardware, with low voltage applications.
- Must display excellent attendance
- Valid driver’s license is required
